Malaysia voted world's best tourism destination for 2006

The prestigious monthly US travel magazine "Global Traveller Magazine" conducted a poll between Febuary 1 to August 31 2006 and Malaysia has been voted the world's best tourism and value-for-money destination for 2006 ahead of other destinations like Hawaii and Bali. This was based on completed surveys from 13,653 people sent to it by mail, email, facsimile or through its website Global Traveler USA.
