Directions to get to Tune Hotel, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman

Tune Hotel (opposite Maju Junction) Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman is within walking distance of all 3 of Malaysia Mass Rail Transit,

the Star LRT line which runs between Sentul, Ampang and Sri Petaling,

Putra line which runs between Kelana Jaya and Wangsa Maju and the

KL Monorail which runs between Titiwangsa and KL Sentral.

The nearest mass rail transit station to Tune Hotel is the Medan Tunku Monorail Station. Another within short walking distance is the Sultan Ismail LRT station on the Star line. Slightly further is the Dang Wangi LRT station on the Putra Line. Dang Wangi LRT station has 2 exit, one to Jalan Ampang and one to Jalan Raja Abdullah. You will have to exit from Jalan Raja Abdullah. Cross the river from Dang Wangi LRT station to Jalan Raja Abdullah, turn right, then turn left at Jalan Sultan Ismail. You will pass Imperial Hotel, then the Medan Tunku Monorail, and further will be Tune Hotel at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman opposite Maju Junction.

Malaysian Investors' Association AGM in Coronade Hotel, Jalan Walter Grenier, Kuala Lumpur

The Malaysian Investors' Association (Persatuan Pelabur Malaysia) will be holding its AGM (Annual General Meeting) this coming Saturday. Details are as follows:

Members are requested to bring along notice and envelope on which membership number can be found. Only members of MIA (not missing in action but Malaysian Investors Association) can attend AGM. Those driving can park at Lot 10 while those going with public transport can take the monorail and get off at the Bukit Bintang Monorail Station where Coronade Hotel is just a short walk from there (actually that Monorail Station is not situated on Jalan Bukit Bintang itself, but on the stretch of Jalan Sultan Ismail in front of Sungei Wang Plaza).

World's largest hotel - First World Hotel at Genting Highlands, Malaysia

Malaysia now have the distinction of having the world's largest hotel - the First World Hotel at Genting Highlands, which have 6,118 rooms. It has beaten the previous record hotel, the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, which have 5,044 rooms.

This is recognised by the Guiness World Records. In line with the recognition, the hotel is offering a special RM1 (USD 0.28) stay at the hotel from January 2 to March 29, 2007 if you book a buffet dinner, international show or outdoor theme park package from now till 31 January 2006.
